Topic: Opportunities         Category: For Tuesday
Posted by: cringe on Apr 29, 2009

The OSU Urban Arts Space Idea Lab is conducting a survey on what works for members of the local scene, what can be improved, and how to actually go about doing that. A few workshops are scheduled for May with topics guided by the results of the survey, so the sooner you respond the more your inpur will count in organizing the workshops.

Take the survey now.

Dirty Franks Jukebox Call For Local CDs
Topic: Opportunities         Category: For Tuesday
Posted by: cringe on Apr 21, 2009

Dirty Franks, the newest eatery to join the Betty's, Surly Girl and Tip Top family, is set to open any day now. One of the plans is to have nothing but local music on the jukebox. But Harold, the man with the plan, tells me he needs more help from us to fill the jukebox. So, if you have any local CDs you can donate, slap a sticker on them or toss them in a bag and label them "For Dirty Franks Jukebox" then drop them off at Surly Girl, Betty's or Tip Top.

Tin Hearts

P.S. I'm working on moving the Ear Shot galleries to Flickr (and/or maybe YouTube for the videos). I'll try to retain the old links in some friendly way, but there may be some oddities while I'm developing that.
