CRINGE.COM closes its series of shows supporting the Cringe.com/pilation v1.0 CD on Friday, June 8, 2001 at Little Brother's:

Guinea Worms just released its second CD on Botulism Music in May 2001. The Jive Turkeys released its first CD on Derailleur Records in April 2001. Silo the Huskie is working on its second record on Cargo. Be sure to check http://www.cringe.com/pilation/ for more extensive information on each band.

The Cringe.com/pilation v1.0 CD has a tentative release date of September 29, 2001. The following artists and bands are lined-up for the CD and support shows: Bigfoot, The Bygones, Earwig, Tim Easton, Grafton, Guinea Worms, The Honeys, Jack Neat, The Jive Turkeys, The Marbles, The Media Whores, A Planet For Texas, Pretty Mighty Mighty, Rancid Yak Butter Tea Party, The Randys, Silo The Huskie, Superstar Rookie, Templeton, Tiara and The Velveteens. Future Cringe.com/pilation volumes are also planned.

Coupons for the compilation are available at each support show. Patrons will be able to redeem the coupon for a free copy of the CD at the Fall 2001 release show.

Cringe.com is an online zine covering the OSU/Short North area music scene. The zine started in 1995 as a poll of Live Shows subscribers.
